Camphill Devon Community (CDC) is looking for a Chief Executive to provide the charity with strategic vision, leadership and organisational flair. The people we support will be at the heart of what you do.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of CDC’s care and support services for people with learning disabilities. This includes around 36 people living in 6 houses in a beautiful setting on the edge of Dartmoor, registered as a residential care home. Additionally, 15 people are supported in their own accommodation around Buckfastleigh, and day services are also provided. You will further oversee the management and maintenance of our properties and land.
As Chief Executive you will develop and keep fresh, in conjunction with the Trustees, CDC’s strategy of improving our services, keeping ahead of changes in social care and ensuring the people we support live rich and fulfilled lives.
To be successful in this role you will need experience of managing care and support services, but this is just the starting point. You will be a confident leader that can motivate your team to deliver high quality services and have the creativity to see beyond the norm. Communicating and managing change will be part of your strengths.
