Support Worker (Full and Part Time) – Supported Living in Buckfastleigh

We Are Recruiting!

My name is Richard, I live in Supported Living in Buckfastleigh and I am one of fourteen adults who need your support, care and enabling every day with activities such as:

  • Maintaining my access to the local community
  • Maintaining independence with personal care
  • Maintaining nutritional intake
  • Maintaining personal appearance
  • Maintaining relationships with friends and family
  • To live safely and to maintain my home environment
  • Support with finances
  • Support with fitness and exercise

We currently have up to 4 full or part-time contracts to join our Supported Living team.

Pay is £9.60/hr, rising to £9.70 after 6 months, plus £35 per night sleep-in allowance and a mileage allowance for using your car with people we support. Owing to the nature of this work you must have a full driving licence and be willing to use your own vehicle.

Senior Support Worker (Residential)

Ref. RSSW02: Full time 40 hours per week

£21,000 per annum plus an allowance for sleep-ins

We are seeking an individual for a new position of Senior Support Worker. Owing to the support needs of the people we support, we are looking to recruit a male candidate to work in an all-male household.

Do you have experience of working with adults with a learning disability?

Are you a dynamic person committed to ensuring the people we support receive person-centred support in a way that reflects our vision and values and our support standards?

You will be required to work closely with the Registered Service Manager to oversee and structure daily activities in the house and provide support and guidance to the team.

You must be computer literate with skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.

The post also includes sleeping-in duties, undertaking the Responsible Person role for the site (on average 2 per month) for which an additional allowance is paid.

Support Workers (Residential Care)

2 x Female Support Workers

Ref. RSW42: Part time 30 hours per week

£9.27 per hour, plus an allowance for sleep-ins

We are seeking 2 Support Workers. Owing to the care needs of the people we support, we are looking to recruit a female candidate to work in a female household.

Experience is not essential, it is your core values which are important to us and the people we support.

 

1 x Support Worker

Ref. RSW43: Full time 40 hours per week

£9.27 per hour, plus an allowance for sleep-ins

We are seeking a full time Support Worker in Merlin. Experience is not essential, it is your core values which are important to us and the people we support.
