Residential House Manager

Salary £23,000 to £25,000 dependent on experience

We seek to appoint a full-time (37.5 hours) House Manager for one of our group of residential houses. If you are experienced in working with adults with learning disabilities and can lead a team in providing person centred support then we would like to hear from you.

A minimum qualification of QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 (or equivalent) is essential.

To ensure Camphill Devon meets its commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults, we will carry out all necessary pre-employment checks, including obtaining an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS).

The Location:

Buckfastleigh is easily accessible just off the A38 and right on the edge of the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. Residential care is provided at Hapstead Village, 1.5 miles from Buckfastleigh. Owing to the location, you will need to have a full manual driving licence. Use of your own vehicle is preferable.

Support Worker (40 hours per week)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker to join our Residential Care team working 40 hours a week plus the flexibility to work additional hours, which includes regular evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

Your pay will be £9.18 per hour plus an allowance for sleeping in.

An opportunity to join our residential bank staff team!

If you’re the sort of person who treats others with respect, listens to their needs, understands their emotions and is warm, kind and honest then this could be the opportunity for you.

Our Support Workers enable adults with learning disabilities with aspects of day to day living on a 1:1 and group basis, including social and physical activities, some personal care, budgeting, shopping and cooking.

We currently have opportunities for you to join our Residential Support Worker team on a ‘Casual Worker/Bank staff’ basis. We’re looking for enthusiastic people who are able to work day-times, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

Experience isn’t essential as full training is provided, including a comprehensive induction programme, and you will be supported by a responsive and accessible team within the house in which you work.

Pay is £9.18/hr plus holiday entitlement, £35/sleep-in.
